Place your selections in a lockable sandwich bag and label it with a number and location. If you are using a piece of tape, place it in the sandwich bag.

You can rent an electric mold pump and purchase the mold traps used to collect the mold from a tool rental company or a mold testing lab, and some labs offer free pump rentals as long as they will be performing the lab test for you. Mold air tests provide a lot more information than other mold tests since the pump can be calibrated, thus capturing various colonies of mold; it is usually best to incorporate it with direct sampling methods.
